Dexter's Thornton Park

Now, let me start off by saying I usually frequent Dexter's Hannibal Square, however...this particular day we were meeting my cousin in Thornton Park so we decided on this location. I have to say..I DO prefer the layout of Thornton Park, but I still love you Winter Park. You my girl! All in all, there are 4 locations around the Orlando area.

Now, I could go on and on about their MENU, which is strongest at brunch. But, I'd rather focus on one thing that the Thornton Park location offers. Ya see, they have some menu items that they share and some that are particular to the location.

Can you say...BLOODY MARY!

This thing is ridiculous and I didn't actually believe it was real until I saw the guy making it right in front of me at the bar. (PS. This staff is probably one of the hardest working staffs that I have ever seen. They HUSTLE like no ones business. The service was amazing. Trust me...I was looking for something to bitch about because I was on a low carb diet at the time and I was cranky. But, honestly....I couldn't find a single thing wrong with the joint. I did NOT partake in this bloody mary...but MAN I wish I had.

It's by FAR, the largest bloody mary I've seen in the city and I've seen it ALL:bacon, shrimp, burger sliders.

The drink pictures below isn't even finished...I had premature photographing syndrome, so I'm sorry. After I shot this photo...the bartender added wings and some sort of anti pasta platter on a stick. ( Yes, in addition to the chicken and waffles.) Don't believe me? Go check it out for yourself. In fact, go this Sunday.

The crowd is fun and the place is super artsy. I just love it, although next time I go I will NOT be on a low carb diet. That part sucked. I've learned my lesson.(Don't get me wrong, they are SUPER accommodating and their salads are amazing. I've had every single one of them. Well it wasn't all low carb. I did have about 3 glasses of Pinot Grigio.

My name is Jill...and I love wine.

OVERALL RATING: 4 out of 5 wine glasses

Price Range: $$
