Carrot And Broccoli Stem Fries

Everyone loves french fries. Some are healthier than others. These fries you can eat mounds of and not feel guilty at all. This is also a great way to use up the ends of your broccoli after you use the floretes. You can dip them in any sauce you like. I like to use a BBQ or steak sauce for the broccoli stem fries and a sriracha mayo or honey mustard for the carrot fries.


  • 3 large carrots ( or you can use baby carrots)

  • 2-3 broccoli stems

  • Spray oil (Olive or Avocado)

  • Lemon pepper

  • Steak seasoning


Slice both the carrots and the broccoli stems into thin strips like you would a potato for french fries. Coat each vegetable in spray oil. Once they are coated you can add the lemon pepper to the carrots and the steak seasoning to the broccoli stems. (You can also use any other seasoning you like)


You can bake in a 425 degree oven for 15 -20 minutes OR (even better) 12 minutes in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes.


Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
